When first meeting Christopher Bigelow, owner of Human Element Media, I was surprised by his extremely youthful appearance. As we introduce ourselves and begin talking, he chuckles and says; “You must be sitting there thinking, who is this young kid, and is he for real?” The fact that he looks like a kid in his teens, rather than a man in his mid-twenties, doesn’t keep Chris from getting down to business. Along with his clean cut, baby face look, comes his fresh approach at building a company from the ground up; a passion of his since he was younger. Chris’s specialty is marketing and managing all forms of social media for small to medium sized businesses.

Creating a connection or relationship between customer, company and brand is tuff and it takes time to build. What does a Social Media Manager do?
Ford Motor Company realized a while ago that Social Media was huge in modern Internet marketing and what were they doing to be a part of this huge online trend. They decided to shift some marketing dollars and hire a Social Media Manager to represent Ford Motor Company online, his name is Scott Monty. This position of Social Media Manager is similar to a Public Relations role, except it’s all done with online media, content, podcasting and blogging. Now that Scott Monty is with Ford I have someone to relate to, which intern will make me relate more to the Ford Brand. As time goes on he will gain more and more of a following from people being able to relate to Ford through him. I was even able to email him and get a real response back fairly quickly.
Brittany Spears hired a Social Media Manager to keep a handle on her Social Media Presence. His job is to handle all of her new Media that comes in like; pictures, videos, blogs and press releases.
This slide was done by a women by the name of Marta Kagan, she is a Social Media Evangelist + Online Marketing Pro. I really liked this presentation of what Social Media is. After watching this slide you should have a better understanding of Social Media.

Doing Craigslist Marketing and local events networking with the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce I took FreshPeek.com from 2-3 thousand page views a day, to 7-8 thousand page views per day over the course of about 3 months. A lot of the page views were coming from the viral aspect we were able to create.

“The plot is great and the book is a real page turner. I loved the description of Mr. Ramples and having been down to Nicaragua and the Bluefield area, his descriptions are right on. The characters are great, especially Mr. Bolanos the President’s brother. There was a previous President of Nicaragua who is now in jail for corruption charges so the similarities are fascinating. I liked how they located the “bomb” in a NYC trading house and how the girl killed one of the conspirators but wilted on killing the other. The scene on top of the Empire State Building was great.”
